Tuition Centre @ RISE
Rise Tuition is a focused secondary tuition centre in Mitcham supporting learners in English and maths, with structured GCSE preparation. We teach in small groups so every student receives clear explanations, guided practice and targeted feedback. Our aim is simple: build confidence, close gaps and help young people achieve stronger results.
If your child needs extra help in English or Math's, or has lost confidence with learning, our Tuition Centre provides calm, focused support for learners aged 11–16.
We run after-school sessions during term time, with a Saturday School that offers catch-up, extension, and enrichment in a supportive community setting.
Who we support
We work with learners who:
• Need extra support to keep up at school
• Feel anxious about exams or falling behind
• Work hard but are not seeing results
• Benefit from smaller groups and clear explanations
Whether your child is in Key Stage 3 or preparing for GCSEs, we meet them where they are and help them move forward.

Why parents choose us
Structure, not last-minute panic. Our sessions follow consistent routines so learners know what to expect. That stability builds focus and reduces stress, especially in the lead up to exams.
Tutors who explain work clearly and break complex topics into steps that make sense. We do not rush through content. We check understanding, correct misconceptions and give students time to practise properly.
Small group sizes mean your child is seen and heard. They are not one of twenty in a room. They ask questions. They receive feedback. They build confidence through participation, not silence.
Regular updates on progress. You will know what your child is working on, what they are improving in and where they still need support. There are no surprises.
Above all, families tell us they value the calm, safe and supportive environment. We expect effort and respect, and we create a space where young people can focus, grow and succeed.

Safeguarding and Care
Your child’s safety matters.
• All staff are DBS checked
• Clear safeguarding procedures are in place
• Attendance is monitored every session
• Behavior expectations are clear and fair
